Ema Barton
Lead Singer / Guitarist / Percussion
Ema provides sultry soulful diva lead vocals along with rhythm guitar. She sings for 70s/80s disco band Coco-Rocky and and is known as ‘The Queen of Open Mic’ having run multiple events over the last 8 years. Ema has a passion for serving her community and has formed Holding Space Aotearoa Charitable Trust for this purpose. Her strong performance skills come from a background in acting for screen and theatre with a Performing Arts Degree (Unitec) and Diploma in Contemporary Music (Mainz). You may recognise her from such ads as The NZBlood Campaign or her crazy theatre days with The Outfit Theatre Company. Ema is focusing on releasing original music with her debut single Midnight Mistress out now.
Windon Bradfield
Lead Guitarist / Stomp Box / BVs
Windon has been performing live since age 15, and is a gifted multi-instumentalist, working as a sort after Lead Guitarist, Bass Player and Drummer. After completing his Music Diploma (Mainz) in 2011, Windon has performed with some of Aukland’s finest, including funk soul big band Hipstamatics, Untilted, Mister Speaker, Coco Rocky and Easy. He has performed alongside Peter Urlich (The Dudes) with his 50s/60s covers group The Rocking Roller Coasters, plays Bass for Maori blues / rock band Kiko and last but not least, is lead guitarist / founding member for Rock’n’roll Power House Harvey Knows A Killer. If you're really lucky you'll get to see his beautiful flowing hair down. But only at the rock'n'roll, bohemian folk gigs we're afraid. Windon also teaches guitar privately in Auckland Central.

Eamon is the bomb diggity at bass, some would say "a
Jazz Kat from way back" but he loves ALL the music, rocking either double bass or electric depending on the occasion. Have you seen his vintage Double Bass yet? It's dreamy. Ask him how old it is. He's also getting into BV's and it's a real treat for the band.
Eamon has a Jazz Degree from The University of Auckland and plays in multiple bands including Ruckus, Shindig, Ijebu Pleasure Club, Essential Fifth Elements, Rocking Roller Coasters and CJC Creative Jazz Club Aotearoa. He is currently working on making his own Synthesisers for an art installation and yes...he teaches Bass part-time in the Auckland area.
jess Hix
Drums / BVs
Jess is our kick-ass wonder woman of a drummer. She has been working in Tāmaki Makaurau as a professional drummer, percussionist and teacher for the last 8 years. Jess has a Bachelor of Music in Performance Percussion from the University of Canterbury & has performed with many groups including the Royal New Zealand Navy Band, Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra & Symphony Orchestra, Strike Percussion NZ, BaDaBoom NZ, Superhero Second Line, Audio Farm, The BackChat, Lou’ana and Lucky May of course! Jess has also done various session work for shows and artists including Hugh Jackman, Niko Walters and Synthony since she’s a fancy rhythmic girl, and her BV’s are top notch as well.
